The current Chairman, Correspondents Chapel of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), Plateau State Chapter, Mr Gyang Bere has been appointed Special Assistant on Media to the Plateau State Governor-Elect, Barr Caleb Mutfwang.
Mr Gyang is the Correspondent of the Sun Newspaper in charge of Plateau State and his appointment takes immediate effect.
Also, appointed alongside, Mr Gyang Bere was Mr. Moses Nwan, mni, as the Special Assistant on Special Duties to the governor-elect.
He is a retired Permanent Secretary with the Plateau State Government, a Community leader, and a former local government administrator.
