As the clock ticks down to the 2023 Sports Legendary Awards, which was put together by the legendary ‘Kingdom Star Sports International Foundation’, Presided over by the President Hon. Solomon Omonokhua has ensure that the quality of the awardees was mixture of legendary administrators in Nigeria.
http://www.newspanorama.com.ng scoops on the award statement which reads in parts; “In line with the recommendations made by the research team of the Sports Legendary Award, which accesses the performance of various individuals and organizations in private and public service sectors of Nigeria, the executive council of the board of the Sports Legendary Awards, gladly writes to notify you (IBRAHIM MUSA GUSAU, NFF President) that you have been nominated for our 2023 Sports Legendary Award category as “MOST VALUABLE SPORTS PERSONALITY IN WEST AFRICA & ICON OF HOPE IN FOOTBALL ADMINISTRATOR OF THE YEAR 2023”.
The statement further said, the award was predicted on several parameters, which include the recipient (Ibrahim Musa Gusau) services to the Football game in the federation is worthy of emulation.
“The game have experienced lots of progress and turnaround, especially in the grassroots developmental programs”.
“His outstanding performance and show of leadership has brought lots of hope and revived the Nigeria Football Premier League, and created a change in the system, even down to West Africa countries.

The statement also recognised the Ibrahim Musa Gusau exemplary leadership style with great philanthropic disposition towards the less privileged, especially in reaching out to ailing sports legends and the vulnerable.

“It is therefore the humble opinion of the Sports Legendary Awards that your contributions to football development and selfless service over the years provide justification for your nomination”.
