Hajiya Rabi Salisu, Commissioner Human Services and Social Development, Kaduna State has congratulated the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Senator UBA Sani over Thursday’s tribunal judgement, which upheld his election in the March 18, 2023 Gubernatorial Election.
The Commissioner, in a statement on Thursday said the tribunal ruling represented a positive step towards Governor UBA Sani’s overwhelming victory at the polls on March 18, 2023.
Hajiya Rabi described the verdict as a “victory for democracy and the rule of law especially in protecting the inalienable rights of eligible citizens that freely voted our governor in the office.”
She said the development has helped to enrich the judiciary and further deepened the nation’s democratic evolution.
The Human Services Commissioner also applauded the state Governor UBA Sani for always remaining focused and upholding democratic principles, which enable Kaduna citizens to operate in an environment that allows for full expression of fundamental rights.
Rabi Salisu described Governor UBA Sani as someone who has been committed to building bridges of harmony, equity and progress in Kaduna State.
"I call on all Kaduna State people to be law-abiding, peaceful and embrace this judgement in all sincerity, and work together towards a united and prosperous State".
