The construction work on the long-awaited Dengi-Kwalmiya-Gagdi-Wawus Zamangat Road has commenced, with workers and equipment mobilized to the construction site which is expected to be completed in no distant time.
It could be recalled that the road construction project was initiated and facilitated by the member Representing the good people of Pankshin/Kanke/Kanam Federal Constituency in the Green chamber and Chairman House Committee on Navy, Rt. Hon. Yusuf Adamu Gagdi through the Federal Road Maintenance Agency (FERMA).
The Dengi-Kwalmiya-Gagdi-Wawus Zamangat Road forms a critical part of the Kanam LGA roads network, enabling the movement of people and farm products across the communities and Bauchi state border – thereby uniting the good people of Kanam LGA as well as fostering their economic activities.
The construction firm expressed readiness towards meeting the deadline set by FERMA for the completion of the project and gave assurance of maintaining high-quality standards.
