Nupe Community In Kaduna State Meets With Sons & Daughters For Improved Socioeconomic Development Of its People

Nupe Community in Kaduna State has been urged to live in peace, for the socioeconomic progress and development of the community in the region.  

The chairman of Nupe Leaders in the state, Alhaji Muhammed Dagachi Agie made the plea during a meeting organized by Nupe Community in Kaduna. 

He said the meeting aimed to come together and rub minds in furtherance of a bright future for the Nupe community's young generation as well as to foster and strengthen unity among the Nupe indigenes in Kaduna State.

"We are a community that upholds righteousness and respects other people, this meeting always allows us to discuss our progress and development as a community".

Alhaji Muhammed Dagachi explained that the Nupe people have been peaceful pillars of the development of Kaduna state, "Our people have always been given their quota in the socio-economic development Kaduna since the administration of lord lugard in the Northern region".

"And proud to say we have never been wanting, and had live and have been leaving as law-abiding residents of Kaduna".

Also speaking at the meeting the Former Kaduna Town Planner, Engineer Muhammed Danbann called on all and sundry to allow any discriminatory tendency in all their dealings, for peace and progress to reign in the state.

 In his remark, the wakilin Nupe, the chairman of all tribes and chiefs in Kaduna, Alhaji Aliyu Muhammed expressed delight over the commitment of members to the meeting.

The Wakilin Nupe, however, called on the state governor Uba Sani to include Nupe indigenes in his cabinet for the massive forty percent support they gave to his victory in the state. 

"We congratulate him for his recent victory at the Appeal Court, urged to now focus on governance with the election distraction now gone".
