The Chief Coach of Heartland Football Club of Owerri, Christian Obi said that all those concerned with football development and administration in Nigeria should be blamed for the constant movement of players and coaches in the Nigeria league which has Made continuity difficult.

Speaking to our correspondent, he said the management of football clubs is not patient enough, they want to get to the top position immediately after the league starts, and the players at any given opportunity leave their clubs because of non strict adherence to contract and monitoring from the authority.

In his words 'there is the need for the players to blend, but management doesn't take into consideration the blending process.

He sighted an example with his club Heartland FC" We had a set of players that gave us promotion from the national league to the premier league and people just want the team to start doing well immediately and compete for the trophy forgetting that some teams have been on ground the previous season.

He added that when a coach stays longer in a team with a large percentage of the players, it makes it easy for teamwork and team spirit.

Coach Christian Obi was initially asked to step aside for coach Boboye after picking up 6 draws at home and away without winning a match but was brought back after coach Boboye managed five matches.
