The Kaduna State Pilgrims Welfare Agency is mourning the loss of Hajiya Hannatu Zailani, who served as the Director of Finance and Administration. Hajiya Hannatu peacefully departed this world today at a private hospital in Kaduna after a brief illness.
According to a statement from the Public Relations Office of the Agency, led by Yunusa Mohammed Abdullahi, Hajiya Hannatu dedicated her life to public service, leaving an indelible mark on the agency.
"Her career spanned several decades, beginning in the early 1990s."
She steadily climbed the ranks, eventually assuming the role of Director of Finance and Administration. From 2019 to 2022, she also served as the Overseer of the Agency.
"Her commitment, leadership, and unwavering dedication will be sorely missed by colleagues and friends alike. "We extend our heartfelt condolences to her family during this difficult time, the statement added."
Hajiya Hannatu leaves behind her husband and children. "Her funeral took place today at the Unguwa Sarki Kaduna cemetery, following Islamic rites."
