GOVERNOR MUTFWANG URGES MWAGHAVUL NATION TO HOLD UNTO GOD, AS ETHNIC GROUP HOLDS PRAYERS

Plateau State Governor, Barr. Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang has urged the Mwaghavul nation to remain committed in fervent prayers for God's divine protection over the people for the prosperity of the land.

Governor Mutfwang made the call during the Mwaghavul Solemn Assembly (Puus Dangnaan 2024) with a theme, "The Supremacy of God in praise and Worship" held at COCIN LCC Bungha, Mangu Local Government Area of Plateau State.

In a statement by the Director of Press and Public Affairs to the Executive Governor, Gyang Bere issued in Jos, the governor  implored residents in Mwaghavul land to forget their differences and join hands for the Peace, unity and development of the land.

Governor Mutfwang described this year's Solemn Assembly as timely and of great significance, given the recent sad events in the area and the need to sustain prayers in the land for the return of pea  and prosperity. 

He expressed hope  that the gathering would further strengthen the People's resolve and commitment to ensure that righteousness, holiness, peace and justice thrive in all communities in the state.

He assured the people that his administration will continue to work with all security agencies and relevant stakeholders for the return of permanent peace in the state. 

The Mishkaham Mwaghavul, HRH. Da John Putmang Hirse thanked his people for their unwavering support for peace and enjoined them to close ranks for the protection of the land and its unity.

Prayers were offered to God for  guidance, peace and unity of the Mwaghavul nation as well as for God's wisdom upon Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang to lead Plateau State aright among others.
