Abuja, Nigeria - April 5, 2024 - The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) is in mourning following the sudden demise of one of its staff members, Abubakar Yusuf Garba, who was serving in the States and Zones Section.
Mr. Garba tragically passed away on Thursday, April 4th, 2024, while en route to his hometown in Zamfara State.
In an official statement issued today, NAHCON expressed profound sadness at the loss, stating, "It is with deep sorrow that we announce the untimely passing of our esteemed colleague, Abubakar Yusuf Garba."
The Commission extended heartfelt condolences to Mr. Garba's family, offering prayers for them to find solace and strength during this trying period. "May his soul find eternal peace," the statement concluded.
