The Acting National Chairman of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Ambassador Umar Iliya Damagum, led a delegation of the party's National Working Committee (NWC) to Ibadan, Oyo State, to offer condolences to the Deputy National Chairman (South), Ambassador Taofeek Oladejo Arapaja, over the loss of his mother, Hajiya Limotalai Odee Arapaja.
The PDP leadership joined the Arapaja family for a three-day special prayer session in honor of the late matriarch, who passed away at the age of 95. Ambassador Damagum and the NWC members offered their heartfelt condolences to Arapaja and his family, praying for the soul of the deceased to rest in perfect peace.
In a statement signed by Nuru Shehu, Personal Assistant to the PDP Deputy National Chairman (North), the party leadership expressed their sympathy and support to Arapaja and his family during this difficult time. May Allah envelop the late Hajiya Limotalai Odee Arapaja in mercy and forgiveness, the statement concluded.
This visit demonstrates the PDP's commitment to standing together in times of joy and sorrow, and the party's leadership and members will continue to support Arapaja and his family as they mourn the loss of their beloved mother.
