Senate Aspirant Yerima Shettima Launches Medical Outreach for 500 Residents in Shaba Ward

In a move to boost community health, Ambassador Yerima Shettima, a leading aspirant for the Kaduna Central senatorial district seat, has organized a comprehensive medical outreach at the Shaba Ward primary healthcare center, targeting approximately 500 residents.

He stated that the initiative is driven by his philosophy that life is entirely about service to humanity. This program represents his effort to give back to society, a commitment he intends to intensify over time.

Addressing the sustainability of the program, Shettima affirmed that he intends to continue and significantly expand these medical services if he emerges as a senator. He noted that while he is currently providing this support as an individual, he will have even greater opportunities to ensure medical aid reaches everyone once in office.

The outreach is scheduled to continue in other areas, with the team moving to Chikun local government area next weekend.
The medical outreach specifically addressed several key health concerns for the local population:
 * Malaria and Ulcer Care: Providing diagnostic screenings and treatment.
 * Pediatric Health: Implementing deworming programs for children.
 * Hypertension Management: Monitoring and controlling blood pressure (BP) levels.

To ensure effective delivery, the program is being managed and supervised by the Capacity Movement Team Officials and the community leaders.
Shettima highlighted that direct communication with the people has allowed him to stay focused and make quick decisions to improve the community's health situation.

He called on other members of the public who have the means to join in these humanitarian efforts.
Many speakers who extolled Yerima Shettima’s exemplary qualities expressed their gratitude for the intervention. They noted that the efforts led to an improved health situation at the ward.

Furthermore, the Shaba Ward leadership described the initiative as a significant act of kindness and a blessing to the residents. They called on other members of the public who have the means to join in these humanitarian efforts and urged the community to support the aspirant's vision through both cooperation and prayers to become the next Senator representing Kaduna Central at the National Assembly.
