Speaking at a press briefing in Kaduna, Akinbami said Oyebamiji's administration would prioritize economic and financial reforms, economic diversification, job creation, and fiscal discipline aimed at blocking revenue leakages and improving governance.
He said the APC candidate also plans to build a knowledge-based economy by partnering with Obafemi Awolowo University (OAU), Osun State University (UniOSUN), and polytechnics to promote innovation, research, and human capital development.
According to him, AMBO has pledged to harness the state's agricultural, mineral, and tourism potential to boost internally generated revenue (IGR), attract investments, establish new industries, and create employment opportunities.
On sports development, Akinbami said Oyebamiji has promised to revive the sector by identifying and nurturing young talents while engaging stakeholders across various sporting associations immediately after assuming office to address existing challenges.
He added that the APC candidate is committed to restoring Osun United Football Club and Osun Babes Football Club to the elite division of Nigerian football, describing sports as a major driver of youth empowerment and employment.
Akinbami urged the people of Osun State to seize what he described as an opportunity to elect a visionary leader, expressing confidence that Oyebamiji would deliver meaningful development and improved governance for the state.
