To bids his Dengi Constituency farewell as their representative in the Plateau State House of Assembly, the Deputy Speaker, Plateau State House of Assembly, Saleh Shehu Yipmong (surv) distributes motorcycle to traditional rulers and other constituents.
Rt. Hon. Yipmong appreciated all and sundry for giving him the opportunity to serve in such an exalted capacity; saying he could not do it without their prayers and guidance, hence the need to come back and appreciate them.
The Deputy Speaker highlighted his legislative achievements, ranging from bills sponsored, motions moved and other oversight functions performed.
He further listed his constituency achievements ranging from roads construction and rehabilitation, employment secured both federal and state, building of hospitals and provision of medical facilities to hospitals, building of market stalls across wards, electricity extension across Dengi and environs.
The lawmaker from Dengi constituency, also provided free medical outreach where surgeries of various degrees were performed, empowerment with cars, motorcycle, grinding machine, sewing machines, water pumping machines, generators, vulcanizing machine, clippers, payment of bursary to students in higher institution, payment of WAEC to graduating students and conditional cash transfer to market women.
The lawmaker went further to appreciate Kanam Traditional council, Bogghom traditional council, District heads, trade union leaders, Development Associations, Youths and women groups for their massive support in the last eight years.
In a closing remark, he appreciated the leadership provided by the former Governor of Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Bako Lalong (KSGG)(CON) for the service rendered to the State, described him as a selfless leader whose goal is to transform the State.
He called on the good people of Dengi Constituency to give his successor the necessary support to perform for the benefit of mankind and humanity.
Prayers were offered by the constituents on the personality of the Deputy Speaker for God to uplift him to an enviable height, described him as a golden son of the soil whose leadership will be missed.
They prayed and wished him good fortune as they pledge to align with him anywhere politically.
