Residents of Unguwar Mu’azu have continued to shower praises on the Kaduna State Government for awarding a road rehabilitation contract to a reputable indigenous construction firm, FARMTRAC Nigeria Limited.
A resident of the area and a former member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly representing Makarfi Constituency, Hon. Aminu Ahmad, commended the initiative while expressing his views on the road rehabilitation project.
He opined that the road Project contract which was awarded to “FARMTRAC Nigeria Limited” have started beautifying the town and giving it a befitting status.
The former member of the Kaduna State House of Assembly appealed to authorities concerned to spread the road rehabilitation work to cover other parts of the Unguwar Mu’azu, to give the residents of those places a sense of belonging.
According to him there are important roads in the area such as Abdulkadir and other link roads that deserved to be rehabilitated or reconstructed.
Also a resident Medical Doctor in Unguwar Mu’azu, Dr Abdallah Mu’awiyah described the road rehabilitation works, embarked upon by the “FARMTRAC CONSTRUCTION COMPANY NIGERIA LIMITED” as qualitative that can stand the test of time if properly managed.
He was also of the view that the material used for the roads and drainages project are of higher standards and grade.
Dr Mu’awiyah therefore urged the FARMTRAC to continue to maintain quality and high standards in all its projects to gain more governments and public confidence and trust.
Assessing the on going roads rehabilitation work in some streets, the Chief Imam of Unguwar Mu’azu Sheikh Mahmud Abubakar Gumi Central Mosque equally showered encomiums on the construction firm handling the project, because of the quality and the speed of the work.
He appealed to residents of the area to ensure proper management of the roads after the completion of the rehabilitation.
The Chief Imam however drew the attention of the people to steer clear of dumping refuse in water drainages, as well as constructing speed breakers on the roads to avoid causing damage.
The state governor Senator Uba Sani on 25th July, 2024 officially launched the construction of 14.8 kilometre dual road project in Millennium City, Chikun Local Government area.
This is marking a significant milestone in the state’s infrastructure development journey.
The ground breaking signals the commitment of the project which will connect Danbushiya town with others.
This gigantic effort has clearly indicated the zeal and commitment of Governor Uba Sani to transform rural and urban areas of Kaduna State.
The Governor who was optimistic on the nature of the roads projects, has equally affirmed commitment and confidence that the work would be completed and delivered at the appropriate time.
On the Unguwar Mu’azu road project, more residents of the area have been commending Governor Uba Sani for his concern towards transforming the town.
They noted that the project which was awarded to an indigenous reputable construction firm ‘FARMTRAC Nigeria Limited ‘ was equal to the task going by the successes so far recorded as a result of completion of works in different parts of the town.
Most residents of Unguwar Mu’azu believe that when completed the road rehabilitation project, would help boost economic, commercial and business activities amongst the people.
The residents further identified the Kaduna State governor as a leader of wisdom and proven integrity who always places the welfare of his people first.
Also speaking to Journalists on behalf of his people, the Sarkin Fadan Jama’a in Kafanchan Emirate, Alhaji Abdullahi Zubairu thanked Governor Uba Sani for embarking on road construction project in Kafanchan which enhanced commercial activities in the area.
The project handled to an indigenous Company FARMTRAC Construction Company Nigeria Limited will surely stand the test of time according to him.
Sarkin Fadan Jama’a urged the people not to throw refuse in the area in order to avoid flooding and other environmental hazards especially during rainy season.
