Zamfara North Senatorial aspirant, Dr. Sani Abdullahi Shinkafi, has described the appointment of Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar as Director General of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2027 re-election campaign as a “wise and purposeful selection.”
Dr. Abdullahi Shinkafi made the remarks during a press conference held at his residence in Samaru, Gusau, the Zamfara State capital.
According to him, President Tinubu took the right decision in choosing Senator Yari for the strategic role.
The Zamfara North aspirant said Senator Yari’s vast experience in electioneering, party management, and grassroots mobilization makes him eminently qualified to lead the campaign.
“Senator Yari is not new to winning elections. As a two-term Governor of Zamfara State and former Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, he built a formidable political structure. He also demonstrated capacity in party administration and conflict resolution as a key stakeholder in the APC,” Dr. Shinkafi stated.
He further noted that Senator Yari possesses the financial muscle, national spread, and public trust required to drive a successful presidential campaign across all 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory.
“He understands the dynamics of Nigerian politics. He has the resources, the structure, and the goodwill to mobilize support for President Tinubu. His appointment will guarantee victory for the APC in 2027 in shaa Allah,” he said.
Dr. Sani Shinkafi also charged APC supporters to return to their communities and massively mobilize for the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in the upcoming 2027 election.
He urged party members to support all APC candidates irrespective of their differences, stressing that party unity remains the key to electoral success.
The Zamfara North aspirant assured that the upcoming election will be easy for the All Progressives Congress, APC, considering the sagacity, political experience, and public trust Senator Yari has earned across the country.
