The Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress for the 2023  general elections in Plateau State, Dr. Nentawe Yilwatda has been described as the most prepared and blessed with abundant knowledge to lead the state.

Executive Chairman of Kanam Local Government Council of the state, Dr. Dayyabu Yusuf Garga remarked to Journalists during the official presentation of the Governorship Candidate of the party, Nentawe Yilwatda, his running mate, Pam Botmang as well as Director General of the APC Campaign Council, Professor Sebastian Maimako, and other Directors of the Council at the Rwangpam Township Stadium in Jos.

Garga said Dr.Nentawe has taken his time to understudy the various dynamics and challenges bedeviling the state and has fashioned out ways already that would address the issues stage by stage and within specified periods that the people would love.

"Having come from a constituency that directly deals with the public and critical issues of life such as academia," the Chairman added that the state should not doubt such capabilities of a young man who has been tested and seen to have performed above board.

"The mammoth crowd at the stadium today is a testament to the fact that Nentawe is loved by the people. I hardly made my way through the crowd of supporters. The sights of women, youths, the elderly, special persons, solidarity groups, and more here are all for this team and the APC so I am happy".

" Let me assure you, people, that my LGA which is Kanam is eighty to eighty-five percent APC and for Dr. Nentawe, we are working on mopping up the rest of the fifteen percent or there about and delivering all to him and all other APC candidates from top to bottom".

The Kanam Local Government boss threw his weight behind the agenda of the Governorship candidate as he said it will address the fabrics of the challenges bedeviling the state today in the areas of Agriculture, Youth Empowerment, Security, Job Creation, and provision of Critical Infrastructure among others.

When asked further, Dayyabu Garga said this is not yet the Flagg off of campaigns as such some issues cannot be let out yet but as soon as the whistle is blown in the next couple of days, the people will see the preparedness of the APC to move to nooks and crannies of the state and meet the people because their campaigns will be those of issues on the table and the readiness to tackle them for the good of the state.

"As for Kanam, recently we held stakeholders' meeting, as part of the people consultations which drew our people from across the twenty wards in the area and let me tell you that Nentawe Yilwatda and the APC was and remain the song on everyone's lips. We are more than ever united in this project and eager to move"

Throwing his full weight behind the sterling leadership qualities of Governor Simon Lalong, Garga said special commendation must go to him for providing purposeful leadership and ensuring the state continues to sail smoothly on the right path.

Dayyabu Garga commended the leadership of the APC in the state under its Chairman, Hon Rufus Bature for ensuring the various gaps that hitherto existed were covered quickly through a robust dispute resolution mechanism and assured him of more support as the campaigns set in.
