Key stakeholders from Kaduna Central Senatorial District in Kaduna State are eagerly anticipating the start of the inaugural Mr. LA Peace and Unity Football Tournament. The tournament, held in honor of Senator Lawal Adamu Usman (aka Mr. LA), aims to promote peace and unity through football.
In a joint statement, stakeholders including Tom Awok, former Council Secretary of the Nigeria Referees Council; Abdulgafar Agboola, National Technical Director of the Youth Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON); Ya’u Muhammed Inuwa, member of the Kaduna State Football Association; Sani Abdullahi, Premier League Match Commissioner; and Mal Amanu, Kaduna State representative of the Nigeria Supporters Club, expressed their excitement and anticipation for the tournament.
Although attempts to reach Senator Lawal Adamu Usman were unsuccessful, his Director of Sports, Abdulsalam Ahmed Jere, assured stakeholders that the tournament will commence soon.
The Mr. LA Peace and Unity Football Tournament is expected to bring together teams from across the senatorial district, promoting unity and fostering a sense of community through the power of football.
